Can we expect more of the same lackluster performance from reinstated Environment Minister Peter Kent?

Montreal, May 18, 2011 - Equiterre hopes that Environment Minister Peter Kent will do more to distinguish himself as he resumes his role as Environment Minister than he did when he was first assigned to the post in January.

Equiterre is always willing to give politicians a chance, but is forced to question whether the minister is simply a stooge for the Harper government's pro-oil and pro-nuclear policies or if he will truly have what it takes to steer Canada towards a green economy.
