Équiterre continues reaching out across the province to talk to the general public about electric transportation, but also, Electrifying encounters will be making a stop at large companies, too. As well as promoting the benefits of transportation electrification to employees, this campaign will highlight the key role companies are playing in the electric revolution by transitioning to electric vehicle fleets and providing charging infrastructure for employees.

Companies join the electric revolution

In September, Electrifying Encounters made a stop at Bell Canada and Bridgestone Canada, where the activities were a resounding success, garnering a high level of employee interest. The next stop is Université de Sherbrooke on October 25. Participants will have the chance to learn about new technologies and projects being developed by electrification research groups, as well as to test drive an electric vehicle.

Christine Beaulieu invites you to try electric

Actress and Electrifying Encounters spokesperson Christine Beaulieu invites you to test drive an electric vehicle with her when she comes to your town with her documentary play "J’aime Hydro", which is going on tour in Quebec this fall. The first stops are St-Jean-sur-Richelieu (November 26) and Quebec City (December); more activities are planned for 2018.

Contest to take you places!

Équiterre has launched a new contest to give you a chance to try out an electric vehicle for a month and discover where Quebec’s electricity comes from on a trip for two to see a giant hydroelectric generating facility in the Baie-James region. The draw will take place on March 14. On top of that, several pairs of tickets for "J’aime Hydro" will be given away on October 27 for performances across Quebec.
