The Revenge of the Electric Car: "Sold out" advance screenings in two cities

Actu - Soirée électrique - Ministre Communauto

Thanks to all of you who braved the cold this week to attend advance screenings of Chris Paine's new documentary, The Revenge of the Electric Car, at movie theatres in Montreal and Quebec City.

Before the screenings, members of the audience got a chance to test drive the newest all-electric Nissan Leaf from the Communauto carsharing fleet – which is expected to number 50 cars by spring.

The film, which is the sequel to Who Killed the Electric Car? (2006), "follows four entrepreneurs from 2007 through the end of 2010 as they fight to bring the electric car back to the world market in the midst of a global recession."

Montrealers who missed the screening can still catch the film at the Cinéma du Parc as of January 20!

p.s. Thank you to our partners, Communauto and the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Environment and Parks.
