Équiterre is a non-profit organization with charitable status that promotes individual and collective choices that are both environmentally and socially responsible. Active since 1993, its activities and publications reach more than 300,000 people per year. Équiterre relies on a team of 25 employees at its head office in Montreal and close to 300 volunteers throughout the province.
