Litterless lunch outside the MDD, Montreal
Event date(s):
16 August, 2012 - 12:00 - 13:00 On Thursday, August 16, celebrate summer with a litterless or in-season picnic in the brand new Hydro-Québec park beside the Centre for Sustainable Development (better known by its French acronym MDD) at 50 Ste-Catherine St. West.
Bring your litterless or in-season lunch and your picnic blankets for a chance to win a Cascades cooler made out of recycled cardboard.
To be eligible for the draw, the contents of your lunch must either contain one in-season, Quebec-grown fruit or vegetable or be certified "litterless" by a member of the MDD team.
By "litterless," we mean:
- a reusable lunch bag
- reusable cutlery
- no individually wrapped items (yogurt, granola bars, juice boxes)
- a meal that doesn't produce any waste (e.g., if there are sandwich bags, they are reused rather than thrown out)
Look forward to seeing you there!
N.B. In case of rain, the event will be postponed to Thursday, August 23.
