Event date(s):
7 November, 2013 - 19:00 - 21:30

Steven Guilbeault of Equiterre and Kim Cornelissen of the Association québécoise de lutte contre la pollution atmosphérique (AQLPA) will be providing an information session for citizens concerning TransCanada's Energy East pipeline project. The company wants to convert an existing natural gas pipeline to carry crude oil – including tar sands oil – from Alberta and Saskatchewan to Ontario, and to build a new pipeline from Cornwall, Ontario to port in Saint John, New Brunswick.

The Quebec section of the pipeline will extend from Lévis along the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River to Kamouraska and Témiscouata.

Salle Bon-Pasteur, Maison de la Culture de Rivière-du-Loup, 67 du Rocher, Rivière-du-Loup.
