Networking cocktail party: From Earth Day to Rio+20, Gatineau

Event date(s):
4 June, 2012 - 17:00 - 20:00

You are invited to Equiterre's 3rd annual networking cocktail party for the National Capital Region, to be held this year at the Canadian Museum of Civilization, on Monday, June 4.

This event offers a unique opportunity for government officials, diplomats, business people and private citizens to share ideas on sustainable development.

Sidney Ribaux, executive director of Equiterre and co-organizer of the recent Earth Day march in Montreal, will speak briefly on the impact of the historic gathering:

  • Why did 250,000 people decide to rally?
  • What message did they send? To businesses? To governments? To the world?
  • As the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20) approaches, what's next?

Program:

5 p.m.: Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres
6 p.m.: Speeches
6:30 p.m.: Networking

A voluntary contribution of $25 is suggested.

RSVP online.
