Visit an organic farm by bike, Quebec City (new date for rained-out event)

Event date(s):
8 September, 2012 - 08:15 - 17:00

The dedicated members of your Quebec City action group have announced a new date for a bike ride tour to La Coulée Douce in Saint-Antoine de Tilly, which was cancelled due to rain earlier in the summer. This organic CSA farm is one of the farms in our family farmer network.

Participants will be able to tour the farm and give the farmer a hand in the fields. And don't forget to bring a bathing suit!

A community picnic will give participants a chance to discuss their shared interest in community supported agriculture.

September 8 (postponed to the next day in the case of rain)

Time:

Gather at 8:15 a.m.
Leave at 8:30 a.m.

Main departure point:

Centre Frédéric Back
870, avenue de Salaberry, Quebec City

Length of ride:

35 km each way, 70 km total

Shortcut:

For those interested in a shorter ride to the farm (20 km), there will be a second starting point at the aquarium bike path, where it intersects with avenue des Hôtels, between 9:00 and 9:15.
