Web docs showcase local eating à la montréalaise

Published on

A crowd recently gathered at the Maison du développement durable for the premiere of the Épluche ta ville web doc series.

These bilingual video clips profile local food initiatives in Montreal that encourage healthy lifestyles and contribute to the development of a sustainable food system.

The goal of the series is to encourage more Montrealers to eat the recommended five servings of fruits and vegetables a day.

Over the coming months, the Épluche ta ville team will also be holding a series of "food happenings," e.g., cooking demos and sensory discovery workshops, to showcase local, in-season produce in public places.

Stay tuned for information for how to enter Épluche ta ville contests for your chance to win such prizes as:

  • Brasserie T! gift certificates
  • the Toqué! book
  • organic baskets
