Two Equiterre alumni named CÉRIUM fellows

Published on

The Centre d'études et de recherches internationales de l'Université de Montréal (CÉRIUM) has bestowed fellowships on two members of Equiterre's extended family: Hugo Séguin and Laure Waridel.

Hugo is our former director of communications and has been a longtime advisor to Equiterre. You may know him as a guest columnist on our French-language blog.

Laure, a co-founder of Equiterre, is a sociologist specializing in international development and the environment, as well as a noted public speaker.

Hugo and Laure join five other fellows from media, politics and academia for the 2013-2016 mandate.

Under the leadership of Professor Frédéric Mérand, CÉRIUM has as its mission to foster greater understanding of international issues, via research, training and dissemination. With more than fifty researchers and fellows, about a hundred doctoral and post-doctoral students, and twenty research units, CÉRIUM is the largest source of expertise and research on international studies in Quebec.

Congratulations Hugo and Laure!
