Despite the rain, hundreds of people came out to show their support for our 100% eco-friendly race in Montreal a few weeks ago. The $55,000 that the participants helped raise has brought us to nearly 50% of our objective for this event which, for the first time since it was created three years ago, will have a sequel: the first edition of La course Changer le monde in Québec City!
A ton of guilt-free fun
On June 16, we are expecting hundreds of participants on the shores of the Saint-Charles River for this first edition of our 100% environmentally-friendly race. No waste water stations, no water bottles or goblets, no packaging, no participant kits, medals or trophies, no useless promotional material. Instead, you’ll find fair trade ice cream, homemade energy balls, a kiosk where you can turn your old t-shirts into reusable bags, delicious organic local kombuchas and koffuchas from Korzen, a photobooth and many other surprises!
If you missed the race in Montreal or are thinking of participating in the race in Quebec City, it’s not too late : head to the welcome station between 7:30 and 8:30 am on June 16. What a great way to spend the day outside, walking or running among family, friends or colleagues – all for a good cause!
