Two organic farms in our family farmer network recently won awards.
The farm Vallon des sources came first place in the Bronze category of the Ordre national du mérite agricole for the Outaouais region. This is one of the biggest prizes for agriculture in Quebec! Owners Michel et Monique also won another prize, La Coop Fédérée à l'agroenvironnement.
The Ferme Aux petits oignons also came fourth out of seventeen in the Bronze category of the Ordre national du mérite agricole for the Laurentian region. Congratulations to owners François and Véronique.
