Anny Létourneau
Strategic Advisor
With a Political Science degree from the Université de Montréal, Anny has developed a solid expertise in public policy and groups involved in environmental and energy issues. Before joining Équiterre, she worked at the Fédération des associations étudiantes du campus de l'UdeM (FAECUM) for 5 years, where she led numerous projects and major advocacy campaigns in higher education.
An Équiterre team member since 2002, she was Director of the Ecological Transportation and Energy Efficiency programs until 2008. With her team, she spearheaded campaigns such as Cocktail transport and I get around...my neighbourhood!. She was then appointed Director of Administration and Human Resources for a number of years. Since 2015, she has been putting her strategic skills to good use in supporting teams with project development and financing. She is Équiterre's funding applications specialist. Her insight, versatility and expertise in budget tracking, project management and reporting are often called upon for backup by her colleagues and the management team.
Her civic commitment goes back to her childhood. Introduced at an early age to helping others and protecting the planet through her involvement with the Scouts, she continued her involvement in her village, at CEGEP and then in the university student movement. A mother of three, she is involved in her children's school as well as in her borough, where she and her friends founded a virtual group of moms. She is delighted to have the opportunity to take up a part-time position at Équiterre, which facilitates work-family balance and social commitment.
