Daniel Rotman

Daniel is an experienced and passionate advocate for social and environmental change. With more than 15 years working with non-profit organizations, international agencies and social enterprises, Daniel has developed numerous creative, inclusive and human solutions to address systemic and structural challenges.

Before joining Équiterre in January 2025, Daniel was Executive Director of the Plastic Bank Foundation, an international NGO supporting communities to prevent plastic waste from entering the environment. He has worked both internationally with the United Nations and Innovations for Poverty Action, and locally as Executive Director of the Depot Community Food Centre, as well as a consultant for community organizations and social enterprises across Quebec. Daniel graduated from HEC Paris and IESE in Barcelona with a MBA and focus in social entrepreneurship.
