Blandine Sebileau
Analyst, Sustainable Mobility
Blandine holds a Computer Engineering degree from her studies France, and has held several jobs in Europe in the banking sector, first in software programming and then in organizational consulting. Arriving in Quebec in 2012, she was in charge of a project office at a banking software publisher.
During a professional break of a few years, Blandine discovered the planetary boundaries model, the link between human activities and climate change, the critical state of certain ecosystems, and the acceleration of climate impacts. This led to a profound rethinking of her career, prompting her to return to the classrooms of the Université de Montréal to earn a Master's degree in Environment and Sustainable Development. Blandine also holds a Certificate in International Climate Policy and Negotiations from the Université de Sherbrooke, which took her and a delegation of students to the (virtual) benches of COP26.
Équiterre's credibility, outreach and ability to rally support led Blandine to join the team in May 2022. At the head of her team, she masterfully manages various sustainable mobility projects.
