Are you curious about a more zero waste lifestyle? Have you ever thought about how much waste is created at sporting events? Well, for four years now, Équiterre’s Change the World Run has been setting the example as a 100% eco-friendly zero waste race. Water refill stations, no promotional items and zero waste prizes and kiosques are just the start of the guide to a zero waste race (which Équiterre wrote, by the way).
Join the zero waste movement at the Change the World Run on May 4 on Mount Royal. Not an avid runner? No problem! The event is accessible to all, with a 1 km (free), 5 km and 10 km routes. Many people walk with their kids and even their strollers. But if you’re up for a challenge, we’ve made you a super simple 9-week training plan, in collaboration with Cardio Plein Air, so that you can be ready to run the 5 km route just in time for the Change the World Run!
Don’t delay! There’s a $20 discount if you register before March 15.
