Florence Plourde

With a B.A. in International Studies, an M.A. in International Studies and a graduate microprogram in Agroecology, Florence specializes in the fields of socio-ecological transition, agroecology and decolonization. She is currently pursuing her doctorate to study agroecological transitions in urban environments.
After working for the provincial government in the fields of humanitarian immigration and aboriginal relations in municipal settings, Florence joined the Équiterre team to work on the development of food literacy in Quebec and to participate in the territorialization of the Quebec food system.
She is currently working on various projects in school food, global health and the protection of agricultural land.
