Geneviève Chatelain

Project Manager, Sustainable Food

With a wealth of experience in local sourcing and fair trade, Geneviève joined the Équiterre team in April 2017 as an educational project advisor and then as a food project manager.

Her work in responsible food involves accompanying institutions to integrate more organic and local products into their menus. She coordinates Schools Take Root, an innovative fundraising campaign for schools, early childhood centers and community organizations that raises awareness of healthy, local and eco-responsible eating through the sale of baskets of local and organic vegetables produced by our family farmers.

A committed citizen, she also sits on the executive board of the Association québécoise du commerce équitable.
