Lyne Royer
Project Manager, Sustainable Food Procurement
A woman of conviction and a young mother working for a better world, Lyne has been involved with Équiterre for over 15 years. With a bachelor's degree in communications and politics from the Université de Montréal, Lyne began as a project manager for fundraising events, responsible for organizing La course Changer le monde and networking cocktails. In addition to raising funds for the organization, the goal was to demonstrate that it is possible to organize large-scale events while taking care of our environment, by adopting eco-responsible measures throughout the organization.
Lyne's work for Équiterre has been rewarded with three Vivats awards from the Conseil québécois des événements écoresponsables: the Vivats-Aliments du Québec award for the 2016 cocktail-benefit, as well as the Vivats-Recyc Québec “Prévention et la réduction à la source” and Les Grands Vivats-Loto Québec awards for La Course Changer le monde in 2018.
In August 2020, Lyne joined the Food team as Project Manager. She manages the Commun'assiette project, which aims to support Quebec food institutions in healthy, local and eco-responsible sourcing within their food services. The Commun'assiette web portal was also awarded the Coup de Coeur prize at the Gala Dux in 2023.
